Welcome to the Stevenage Street Pastors Website.
Our vision is to be a light in the darkness for the night time community in Stevenage. Not through preaching at people but by demonstrating God’s love through practical means such as caring, listening and supporting the people we meet.
Our aim is to build relationships and work alongside other agency's such as the Police and Local Authority, and to gain trust with local business's, so together we can meet the needs of our community.
We also want to see the Church with its many varied backgrounds and denominations working as one in order to impact the community and make a difference.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people
light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all
in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may
see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-
